Most Expensive Alfa Romeo

Alfa Romeo is one of the world’s oldest and most famous luxury car brands. Their cars are so impressive that an Alfa Romeo fan wouldn’t mind owning the most expensive Alfa Romeo.

Established in 1910, Alfa Romeo specializes in making luxury sports cars and has been involved in car racing since the company’s inception. Their cars are built with expensive materials and are put together by some of the world’s best designers. Here are the most expensive Alfa Romeos.

10. 2010 Alfa Romeo 2uettottanto Pininfarina – $2,000,000.

The 2010 Alfa Romeo 2uettottanto Pininfarina was first showcased at the 2010 Geneva Motor show. It is the first of the three new concept cars designed to replace the 159 sedans.

Designed by Pininfarina for Alfa Romeo, this car displays luxury and class. In fact, it is a masterpiece. The 2010 Alfa Romeo 2uettottanto has the typical Alfa Romeo red bodywork. It is 5.9 feet wide, 4.2 feet high, 8.2 feet wheelbase, and about 13.8 feet.

It is powered by a 1.75liter turbocharged engine in a longitudinal position. The third concept, however,  is from legendary car designer Italdesign Giugiaro. Interestingly, this car was created as part of the celebrations of Alfa Romeo’s 100th birthday and Pininfarina’s 80th birthday.

9. 1955 ALFA Romeo Bertone BAT 9 – $2,000,000.

The 1955 Alfa Romeo Bertone is the 9th most expensive Alfa Romeo. It is the last of a series of designs for the B A T project by Alfa Romeo, which signified the height of car styling creativity at the time of its production.

This project was done by Bertone, who was tasked to build aerodynamic experimentation to measure the effects of streamlining on a car’s performance. It is powered by 115HP (84. 64Kw)@5000 RPM with a 116 Ft-Lbs (157 NM) torque and has a top speed of 180km/h/111.87mph.

The design of the 1955 Alfa Romeo Bertone BAT was simply unforgettable. It is pretty unique,  futuristic, and realistic at the same time. This car could be used for day-to-day movements and was also suitable for long travels because of its prudent fuel economy.

8. 1954 Alfa Romeo Bertone BAT 9 – $2, 000,000.

This is part of the three designs that Bertone made for Alfa Romeo. Just as Bertone did with all three designs, he added some elements that he got from his experience working on wing profiles in the aeronautical industry.

This design is also very unforgettable and unique. Like other Bertone designs, they are like nothing you’ve ever seen before, and when compared to the others, this alfa Romeo is quite radical and exaggerated.

It is designed with even larger curved tail fins, which make it look like a creature found in the sea. Some features of this model include a 115HP (84.64 KW) @ 5000 RPM with a torque of 116bFt-Lbs (157 NM)@5000 RPM and a top speed of 180km/h|111.87mph.

7. 1953 Alfa Romeo Bertone BAT 5 – $2,000,000.

The 1953 Alfa Romeo Bertone BAT 5 was the first design of the three Bertone BATs. Launched at the Turin Auto show in 1953, Bertone’s chief designer, Franco Scaglione designed it.

Made based on a study of aerodynamics, it was given a shape that aims to do away with the problem of airflow disruption at high speeds. Interestingly, it is aesthetically pleasing.

It has a tail with the length of the rear windscreen that is divided by a slim pillar. It also has two fins tapering upwards and slightly inwards. This design was met with lots of positive feedback, mainly for its ability to remain stable even at high speeds.

It has a top speed of 180kph/111.8mph and is very lightweight. The weight is about 2,400ibs. It also has pop-up lights mounted at the grill’s sides.

6. 1967 Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 Stradale- $2,000,000.

We know alfa Romeo for making some of the fastest sports cars, and this is not an exception. The 1967 Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 Stradalkle is a mid-engine sports car built by Alfa Romeo in 1967.

The 33 Stradale, like most Alfa Romeo cars, has a unique design. It is so beautiful that it could easily pass as the most beautiful car created by Alfa Romeo. Making its debut at the Paris Salon de L’Auto in October 1967, this car is a classic.

It is a limited series of about 18 pieces built in 3 years. Two were prototypes, and six chassis were made into concept cars, which means they built only ten for use. Although it is a sports car used for racing, you can use it for daily movements on the road.

5. 1953 Alfa Romeo 6c 3000 CM Colli spider – $2,000,000.

The Colli spider is also part of a series; they are all sports cars built for the race tracks. The spider version was the most competitive model among the other cars in this series.

However, in 1955, it became inferior compared to other cars on the tracks. The 6c 3000 replaced the 6c 2,500, and Alfa Romeo wanted to be the best on the tracks.

They achieved this for a while until the 6c 3000 failed. It could no longer achieve the level of success that the producers envisioned it would achieve, but this does not mean that the 6c didn’t do a good job.

It had a top speed of 246.18kph/153mph. It also has a unique design, like most Alfa Romeo, and is painted red.

4. 2008 Alfa Romeo Bertone B A T 11 coupe- $3,000,000.

The 2008 Alfa Romeo coupe is our 4th most expensive Alfa Romeo. It results from the collaboration between Alfa Romeo and Bertone. We can crown Alfa Romeo the best at making extraordinary designs because this is yet another outstanding design.

It is very stunning and a head-turner. Launched at the Geneva car show, it has a 4.7 engine displacement capacity and produces about 450 bhp power. It has a top speed of 300kph and weighs about 1580 kg.

The car was produced when the Bertone family went through some financial situation and family issues leading to the absence of the company at the Geneva motor show for the first time in over fifty years. However, the car was finally completed and eventually launched.

3. 2010 Alfa Romeo Pandion Concept Bertone- $3,000,000.

Manufactured by Bertone and designed by Stile Bertone and Michael Vernon Robinson, The Pandion concept was first launched at the 2010 Geneva motor show. It was designed as a tribute to Alfa Romeo’s centenary celebration.

This luxury car is a two-door coupe with suicide scissors doors that open by rotating backward. The doors open 90 degrees upward, and the whole side of the car is one door from the front fender to the rear fender.

Alfa Romeo is known for making grand designs, but this is one of their most stunning designs. It has a 4.7 engine placement capacity with 450bhp power, weighs about 1258kg, and has a top speed of 320kph.

2. 2010 Alfa Romeo T23 Corsa Zagato- $3,000,000.

Zagato manufactured this model and launched at the 2010 villa d’Este Concorso d’Eleganza.

They made the Corsa Zagato race car in honor of Alfa Romeo’s 100 years of races and victories over the 20th century. It was created especially it for race tracks and not for road use.

It uses a lightweight carbon fiber tubular subframe, weighing about 850 kg. A 4.2 engine displacement capacity powers the car, producing a power of 420 bhp/tone. Its maximum speed is 300kph.

It also has a unique and outstanding design. One standout feature is its color, which is the famous Alfa Romeo red paint.

1. 1948 Alfa Romeo 6c 2500 Competizione – $3,500,000.

The 1948 Alfa Romeo 6c 2500 Competizione is the most expensive Alfa Romeo. This car is in a class of its own. It has such a rustic feel that it will take you back to the 50s.

It is a sports car, but it can be used on race tracks, on the road, or for sports. It was put together by several coachbuilders, including Touring super leggera, James Young, Zagato, Pinin Farina, and Castagna. It was launched in April 1925 at the Salone dell’ Automobile di Milano and was made as a replacement for RL and RM models.

The “6c” contained in the name signifies the six cylinders of the car’s straight-six engine. A 2.4 engine placement capacity powers the vehicle, and it can produce 145bhp. It has a top speed of 200 Kph and weighs about 850kg.

We can refer alfa Romeo to as the “King of designs”. They make breathtaking designs that make heads turn whenever they appear. Their cars are also high-speed and can be used on and off the tracks. They have been involved in car racing since their inception, and they’ve always come out tops. Alfa Romeo has stood the test of time. They have been in the game for over 100 years, and although most of their cars are expensive, you could also find cheaper ones.
